Philippines FDA seeks feedback on proposed peanut butter standards

The Philippine Food and Drug Administration has issued a consultation document, proposing the development of standards for peanut butter. The feedback period for the proposed standards will end on May 19th, 2023.

The proposed standards set the following maximum use levels for artificial sweeteners: acesulfame potassium 1000mg/kg; aspartame 1000 mg/kg; neotame 33mg/kg; steviol glycosides 330 mg/kg; sucralose 400 mg/kg; saccharins 160mg/kg.
