Taiwan reports Indonesian banana crisps found with non-compliant sweetener levels

According to the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration, a batch of banana crisp products (CE027 GUNUNG POTENG KERIPIK PISANG) exported by GUNUNG POTENG from Indonesia contains excessive levels saccharin and cyclamate. The detected saccharin level was found to be 0.02 g/kg, while the cyclamate level was 0.28 g/kg, both of which are not allowed in that type of product.
